ผู้ป่วยติดเตียง หมายถึง บุคคลที่มีภาวะเจ็บป่วย พิการ หรือชราภาพ จนไม่สามารถลุกนั่ง เดิน หรือช่วยเหลือตนเองในการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวันได้ ต้องนอนอยู่บนเตียงเป็นส่วนใหญ่ และต้องมีผู้อื่นคอยดูแลอย่างต่อเนื่อง
